Welcome to Troop 993's website! Troop 993 was chartered in 1958 by the Wesley United Methodist Church and has been proudly serving the community for over 50 years! The troop meets every Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, located at 8412 Richmond Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22309. Troop 993 subscribes to the three aims of Scouting: Teaching boys values, citizenship and physical fitness. Additionally, the troop actively provides service to the community. We strongly adhere to the boy-run, boy-led troop philosophy, with adult leaders acting as mentors and advisors.

SUMMER CAMP - Camp Sinoquipe merit badge sign-up, medical forms attached. ** NEW AOL Crossovers ** - the LAKUSIN program at Camp Sinoquipe is a HUGE OPPORTUNITY to complete rank requirements and complete several merit badges - all within the LAKUSIN program (information sheet below). A friendly reminder that Permission slips, waivers and money ($40) for the Rod N Gun campout were due on March 13. If you have not submitted these items, please bring them to the Troop meeting on Monday. Copies can be downloaded from the event on the Troop website calendar. A mandatory safety briefing will also be held at the Troop meeting on the 20th for everyone attending the campout.
